Blue Dystopian Cityscape

I started with some texture for this one using modelling paste and used horizontal and vertical strokes. Then defined a few lines as well, keeping it in portrait style. Once that dried I worked some colours into the canvas. Then I loaded up my palette knife and laid down some deliberate strokes and continued until I was happy! I love the color palette of this piece It’s quite simple and it has a real moody feel. This is a 18″ x 24″ canvas with a satin varnish finish.
