This artwork was inspired by my own city on the Swan River. I love the play of lights on the water. The background texture is built up with layers of textured medium, softly dry-brushed to create a moody, atmospheric sky and water. Against that subtle texture, the city lights were added with vibrant, joyful colour to capture that magical reflection.
